We are Genoa
Yesterday it was Sunday. The day devoted to God, according to Christian religion, the day devoted to soccer for the people who love this game. And this is especially true for who lives about 1000 Km away from the city where he was born and even more true, for who loves the oldest soccer team in Italy, Genoa.
This is one of few things I miss in my new life abroad, along with the sea, friends, family and maybe a bit of focaccia ;) The sensations when going to the Stadium or the "Temple", as the supporters are used to call it, the fear before the match, the roar of the Gradinata Nord, are a mixed of joy, sufferance, rage, pain, happiness, mixed in a madly manner, which words can hardly describe.
Yesterday the match ended 1-1, but all the city is already waiting for the Derby, that is, the match against the other soccer team of the city... the roar of the Gradinata Nord will be necessary to win this new battle.
